A graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and an alumnus of McKinsey, John is an operating executive with over 20 years of operating experience in setting business strategy, identifying and communicating direction, and building strong relationships with clients.
Over the course of his career John has worked with companies of all sizes, leading a $175M business, managing revenue and margin for an early-stage startup, and launching a new business unit within a large mar tech company.
For several years, John held leadership positions at QuinStreet, a leader in performance marketing. There he managed strategic accounts, growth and profitability initiatives, and lead account and client management of the company’s largest vertical.
In his role at Triggit, John was responsible for account and campaign management, sales operations, media analytics, and client services.
In his role at LiveRamp (RAMP), John was the GM for IdentityLink for Publishers, one of LiveRamp’s initial IdentityLink products. He led ideation, go to market planning, initial sales, business development, contract negotiation, and launch of the business.
A life-long Vikings and Twins fan, John loves his family, Pearl Jam, live music, IPAs, and San Francisco’s Dolores Park on a sunny day.

From his first internship as a student at Stanford University, Hoon has been hooked on scaling early-stage startups requiring both the brain and the brawn. Since then, he has played an integral role in growing a number of startups through building teams and products.
At Mercantila (which became Google Shopping), Hoon was the manager leading a 20-person team in India and built an online database for hundreds of thousands of products.
At Triggit (which exited), Hoon built out Account Management and Sales Ops teams, as well as new revenue products for the company.
As an avid climber, Hoon can be found either scaling mountains or training at local climbing gyms, both of which ends with a craft beer from the Bay Area.
